The Full Story
We are The Brothers Kitchen Grill, also known as TBK Food Trucks — a Latin-owned business born from faith, resilience, and a deep love for authentic Mexican cuisine. Our story began in 2017, when Alejandra Sandoval (from Nicaragua) and Chef José Sandoval (from Mexico) faced one of their biggest challenges after Hurricane Irma. With no job, no savings, and a dream in their hearts, a food truck became available at just the right moment. It felt like a sign… a second chance.
We started by serving meals to the Hispanic community at a local shelter, sharing warmth and flavor. When the shelter closed, we didn’t give up. Fueled by passion and purpose, we transformed that challenge into a full-scale mobile catering operation trusted by top corporations, schools, and major venues across South Florida.
